What is the name of the case that holds the triggers?

Hey, I just started watching your video and thought I recognized the location on your screen. Is that by the Quay in New West? If so, that was the first place I went with my camera not long ago.

Do you recommend Lumopro lp-160 flashes? It's hard to get SB-28 flashes now a days.

Great video! Subscribed and followed on twitter!

@kwanyinx One last thing.... NiMH battery = not great.
NiHM AA = 1.2v 1.2v x 4 = 4.8 volts
Alkaline AA = 1.5v 1.5v x 4 = 6 volts
4.8 volts = sloooooow cycle time.
I use 6 volt acid battery, 17.00 each. It's not the fast high voltage battery but it's reliable.
Again, thanks for the info! I will get me that bag!

@Tikalization The flash's hot shoe mount sits in the Flash holder/umbrella holder. the sync cord must connect to the trigger with it's PC socket. Also, keeping a few cords as back up would be nice, too... Battery failure, thick wally, electrical interference.....
if you're a Canon shooter with Canon flashes, the recent confusion caused by Canon flashes being electrically dirty caused jamming with 300.00 Pocket Wizard triggers.

Thanks! VERY useful info on that bag! I shall get one!
1, speed kills, a few quick flashes is fine, "machine gun" the flash and it can burn out.
2, SB28 @ 100.00 is approaching my "pain" point.
3, I bought and was given unwanted flashes: 2x promaster 7500DX, total 35.00 (I need to add mini jack to it) Vivitar 3700 free Metz 45 free 3x Sunpak 611, total 60.00
....the only draw bag, huge disadvantage: sizes
I wish the Metz was smaller, it puts out more light than the SB28.
hi there great video, thank you for that! I am just starting with photography and i am still not sure which lighting to get. I plan to build home photo studio and do portraits and standing people, can u please advise me if this kit would be enought for that?? what else should i get?

@MrSnehu Thank you very much for watching my video! If you are building a home studio (and all of your gear will stay at home), i'd encourage you to get some monolights instead of these pocket strobes. Monolights give you the increased ability to have more power (for lower ISO or smaller aperture), the ability to have modeling lamps built into the strobes, the power to have recycle indicators (beep and dim), and most importantly the ability to use different light modifiers (bigger softboxes...)

@marloon88
thank you for quick answer, i think i might need to take d gear sometimes out of d house so back to d same question, would that be enought or not?
MrSnehu 1 year ago
@MrSnehu you are most welcome for the quick reply. If you are bringing this out, then it's the perfect 2 light set for anyone to use. The lighting gear in this video is a COMPLETE two light kit. It is very versatile for a beginner and I've been using it since mid 2010 - Since then I have yet to exhaust it's capabilities and it has yet to leave me wanting more.

Where did you buy those "nikon 3 pin prepared to mini mono sync cables", huh? Can´t find them.
eduardoysla 1 year ago
@eduardoysla the nikon 3-pin sync cables were prepared via DIY using the Nikon AS-E900 cable and some mono audio plugs. You'll need to solder some wires together. It isn't all too hard. It took me 10 minutes to have 4 cables prepared. The AS-E900 cost me 3.95 from B&H.
If you aren't so tech savvy, flashzebra has your back (for 20.50 + shipping)!
