Big probabilty that it's alcohol...she started to drink a lot just after this area, in 1997

She started to sound Ok these last months because she's stopped alcohol for her pregnancy.

She also has nods but nods don"t damage the tone and the vibrato...only the range.

she also tried to sing out of natural range (Alto).

@lalettre79 Are you joking? Of course nodules damage vibrato and tone. They cause incomplete closure of vocal folds, thus producing a huskier tone. She is not a contralto. In the beginning of her career, she couldn't sing low notes with support for very long. She started doing that more when the nodules became swollen post-Daydream.

Mariah needs The Price Sisters and Melonie Daniels to sing back up for her again. Because even though Mariah destroyed it, they took me to church at the end. Get Trey Lorenz and another badass man in there and Mariah will have the best background singers in modern times.
