Des Moines, Iowa City Council Meeting 12/19/11

The Des Moines City Council meeting held on December 19th, 2011. Special Presentations before the meeting include Excellence in Historic Preservation Awards given to the Liberty Building (Hyatt Place), Oliver Herricks Post Office (Aqualand Building) and the Salisbury House. Mayor Frank Cownie also incourages that he Citizens of Des Moines take place in the "Universal Hour of Peace" on Decemeber 31st.
