What Glenn Beck is showing you is what the media doesn't; the success of Iraq. What the media does show you is the deaths, the car bombs, the sucides, and the depression. "It bleeds, it leads" The media did the same in Vietnam. What it does is depress the people and make them feel like nothing good is coming out. People died for the US to be free. Peole have died for the Iraqis to be free. That is the cost of freedom because some people don't want others to have it.

@jensen1901 Is that not what Bush did? Our military has been greatly decreased, and having our forces in two countries over extended us. (which is sad) Yes we do need to topple genocidal socialist maniacs like Saddam. Africa needs liberation from these warlords, Asia is stillhaunted by the Specter of Communism, and South america is run by drug lords that we fund! America is the last best hope for liberty.

And if your argument is that America should go and invade every country that has actual genocide in much larger numbers, than we have dictators to topple in multiple Asian and African nations (or we should have gone in years ago, but Bush didn't, wonder why....).
