@scorpionboy3 it won't really matter to be honest, lower gauge means lower tension. That's all to it.

Hi terry! I have a mm sterling ray 34 and i use the ernie ball super slinkys on it.. The sound is awesome! But im to get that squier modified jazz soon and i will try the DR's on it... I love the way you play your bass like it just comes natural to you... keep up the good work bro...

Hi Terry, really enjoy your videos and the only reason you don´t have more subscribers is because they haven´t found you yet.

About strings, did you ever use 45-100 gauge? My Squier VM modified( yes you know it=P) came with this gauge. Is there a reason i should keep with this gauge or change it to 45-105?

I would think the 100 gauge would be easier for a beginner with almost no difference in sound,
