This is a clip from a longer recording of a project tenor saxophonist Cullen Offer made in the early 1980's. I believe these are all his arrangements, and the recording was made to try and sell them. This nice recording features some great playing from a lot of local San Antonio musicians, some of whom (including Cullen) are no longer with us. For the bass-o-philes out there, the bass player (James Kelly, my pops) is playing his 1959 Fender Precision bass strung with nylon tapewound strings through a Fender Bassman Piggyback 2x12.
