@MrSusanC it was at at Robson Square. The show was being projected on the Sears building. We where on the steps of the art gallery.

@technocrash09 First of all technocrash09 your calling 200,000 people cheap for standing outside. That makes you an ass. Second, it was raining/cold and we didn't want to get our camera wet. Plus recording the event was secondary as we were enjoying the moment and not worrying about high end filming. We filmed this for us not so you can insult the technique. There was so much going on around us we wanted to get it all. This moment was amazing and we were glad we got to be there.

@inextremus2 I was one of the cast members of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. You state that a couple of grown men almost cried. I can state without any shame that this grown man did. To her k.d. do this live that day was an experience that will stay with me forever. My apt is a vertual shrine to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Vancouver delivered on Olympic games that defined Canada as a nation.

Simply, utterly, 100% A-MAZING!!!!! KD Lang has made THIS her signature song (AS WELL SHE SHOULD!)....ANYONE Who hears this & Does NOT believe that GOD truely exists, NEEDS their ears and hearts 'checked at the door!' When the original composer & singer SAYS this is how HE intended it to be sung....Well, that says it all! An angel voice straight from Heaven!!!!
