I agree with you and I have seen muse in new york and at Wembly. I am dissapointed after watching this because quite frankly matt and chris should have tole him to piss off..This is music not politics. You are correct about the Beck thing. He was goofing. Matt should have told this idiot that we are a band for everybody not just your liberal friends. To be honest, if you do listen to the words of their music they have more in common with Becks views then Pilosi's any day fo the week.

Beck is not "hardcore Republican." He voiced dislike for the government during the Bush administration. What an uninformed reporter. Beck leans Libertarian, if anything.
Beck was talking about how he loves Muse's new record on his TV show and then after the commercial break JOKINGLY said that Muse contacted him and wanted him to take back his "endorsement" (which couldn't have happened in 2 minutes - like Muse would be watching Beck at that same moment and contact him so fast).

thats the 1st time in my life I have ever heard of saying you guys as a terrible thing. 16+ years and didn't realize it was such a pet peeve. Thats all you took away from my lame band interview? sad.
