No, he is not. Claude is from Hearst, Ontario, and Alexandre is from Quebec City. They are not related in any way as far as I know.

@chaosof99 umm dude where your from has nothing to do with whether you're related or not.look at my mom and her brother, hes from Vancouver and is 5 years older and she and her sister are from Manitoba.and if you want a hockey related example look at Calvin and Chet Pickard,Calvin's from Winnipeg and Chet is from Moncton,New Brunswick.so as u can see where they are from doesn't necessarily mean they're not related.

you flyers really do got a good player here in this giroux (excuse my spelling if it's wrong) being from chicago, and playing detroit countless times. i can't help but notice young shades of datsyuk, the shootouts, the speed, the hands, the vision, the willingness to hit, and needless to say, he's a fantastic two-way player.
