This movie will show you a Jesus that's neither Catholic, Pentecostal or any other denominational, but rather inter-dimensional, a friend to trust and the Saviour of mankind. That's the Jesus of the Bible I'm referring to. The Man from Nazareth
@jidean841 I enjoyed this movie- I plan to read & listen to the Bible after watching this movie so that I will have the knowledge & understanding for my self
Good that it is the actual scripture verbatim. Definitely historically inaccurate visually. The truth is that Israel in Jesus time was a much more diverse and 'colored' place than shown. People from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East coexisted and made up the population. The only 2 black folks in the movie r cast as slaves...SHAMEFUL. Receive the Word from this movie, just don't believe everything you see.
im sorry you are mistaken. though catholics obvious ruled over everyone befor the re-form-ation. luther as well as others have re-translated the original texts. compiling others works doesnt make it yours. if you look at the bible that catholics currently use and the one that protestants use you will a varience in the texts each chose. but more then that.. what bladerunner537 was trying to say is that john wrote straight from the hip. its pure and without present day denominational doctrine.
The bible you are referring to is a catholic book.. The Catholic Church compiled the books and become the bible.. no protestant compiled the bible what so ever..
