U can try more but u need to add sand between the doors in order to get rid of the water between them so I think it would get even slower

well I've already had noticed that effect of the doors.The other thing is that when I start "underwater mining" it was so slow and annoying and then the idea just pop uped

there's actually another way. if you just mine 3 blocks down in water and 2 blocks in front (has to be the first 2, otherwise the water will come in), then have fun mining.

@nintendogamer769 Derp my underwater mineing is really similar to his except i instead (place the glass so fast that water doesnt seep into my shelter) just place glass and keep going which is alot faster

@nintendogamer769 Thats what I did to build my underwater shelter. Can't really call it a base, its just a small room with a few chests and a bed.

Why not simply build the glass about 5 blocks,put doors at the end,and then fill the watery part with dirt,remove it,and repeat?
