Rock/Metal is by far my favorite genre of music but James never really made me think "wow, this guy is special." He only reminded me of an 80s hair metal band lead singer. Scotty has the best voice in this entire competition followed by Haylee.

James rocks and he should've won. He is so much better than Lauren, Haley, or Scotty. I mean, really. Two pop-country singers and one country guy? Can we get any less diverse here?

He was starting to repeat himself. There's only so much you can do with high notes being the main thing of your song before it gets old. Every song he just sang a high note as the big moment when he should of actually did something creative. Don't get me wrong, he has talent, but he isn't that creative.

To me he's the best contestant in this competation and he deserves to win. I loved especially his performance of Uprising a few weeks ago. To the haters, stop comparing him to Adam Lambert just because he can also sing extremely high tones. They're two different people and James is a star.
