The junkbot I built is made out of household items which are very easy to find. The parts I used are some wires which Mr. Connors gave me, batteries, tin foil, duck tape, rubber band (X1), CD drive motor, and some shock absorbers. My junkbot looks very messy but it all works and is all connected in the right way. I used a CD drive cap for the base of my junkbot. On the CD drive cap is my battery pack, which is mainly made out of batteries and duck tape. My junkbot has four wires coming out of it from every angle. The motor in the CD drive was very easy to get out. I just needed to undo some screws and that was it. All of the other components I got from around the house. This can be a weekend project.

The thing I learned from this project is that if you have junk lying around, you can make something out of it. I also learned that you can make anything out of household items. This project is probably the best that I have ever done because it is so different. Making things that dont cost a lot is very convenient because if it doesnt work, or doesnt work out, you wont have lost a lot of money.

With the skills I have right now from this project I would probably take things I dont need anymore and try to make an invention with it. The project I just did in my tech class was interesting and hard work. It was hard work because when I had to solder little wires together I had to be precise and not mess up.

When I was ready to video camera it I had no clue what to say at first. Then, when I kept looking and looking at my junkbot I eventually found out what to say. To make the video it took me about 4 tries to get it to the best I could. To me the hardest part of this project is the writing part because when you are doing the video you are limited but now with the essay you can just keep on going and going.

For my conclusion, I have learned so much so far and I want to learn more about how I can use junk to make something work efficiently. I hope we keep on doing these projects because to me they are really fun.

  • "This stupid project took me about four to five years to erm... think it"

  • Excuse me for being rude. I'd like to see something more creative when "cd drive", "junk" and "bot" are used in the same content.
