United Nations, New York, January 2010 - The world has been made increasingly aware of the level of sexual violence against women and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where rape is used as a tactic of war. Even though the weak judicial system makes sexual violence difficult to prosecute, women are starting to fight back and seek justice.

  • most of the rapes occur from u.n. soldiers

    we've reports of french, belgium, uruaguayan and other u.n. workers raping children and women there.......

    it's amazing how the u.n. doesn't mention it
