Response to Hockeygirl4: No one is telling you what to do with your body. The argument is that there is another body in a woman's womb at stake. It's not your decision to take his or her life. Like I said before, the child is in a stage of development, not just simply a bunch of tissue. Life begins at the moment of conception. not when child is born. So ending the life before it has the chance to be born, is and always will be murder under any circumstance.

Bottom line is: you wouldn't kill your grandfather, you wouldn't kill your mother, you wouldn't kill a teenager, and you most certianly would not kill a baby for any reason. So why would you kill the unborn? like a grandfather, teenager or baby, the LIVING person is just in a stage of development. And if he or she weren't, (or if he or she were just "a bunch of tissue) then why would you need to kill it in the first place?

Actually, there are about 6 million Abortions eah year in the United States alone. There are about 10-20 million woldwide. This is not including illegal abortions. So as a total, there are about 25-30 million abortions each year. There were six million that died in the holocoust during World War Two.
But let's get back to the United States. Six Million. Thats more than the United States Casualties in ALL of the wars we were involved in COMBINED.
