Motorcade

How the most powerful man in the world drives by, Presidential Motorcade, Grand Rapids, MI, 2007.
I knew the motorcade was going to be traveling I-96 east, returning to Airforce 1 after visiting the Gerald Ford Tomb at the Gerald Ford Museum, downtown Grand Rapids. No cars where traveling down the eastbound lanes. I knew something was about to happen. I was holding the camera shoulder high in one hand, and my other hand was raised giving the peace sign. From their vantage point, .it may have at first appeared threatening, since I was all alone, holding the object (camera).

that was a dummy motorcade...his motorcade is at least 50 cars long and they would have police cars all the way down the other side of the highway.

The strength of the limo notwithstanding, even a car or truck that drives into it head-on can kill or seriously injure the occupants of the limo. And the the limo is NOT stronger than an Abrams tank!

LOL...The presidential limousine is much stronger than a Abrams Tank. It is surrounded by five inches of ballistic armor and the windows are 6 inches thick which does not even allow light into the car. The doors itself are so heavy it requires two men to open and close the door; much like a vault door.
