2000 Cracker Barrel 500: Multi-car accident

On lap 274, Tony Stewart breaks loose and punches the outside wall head-on after sliding along the frontstretch, and after his Pontiac comes to a rest is drilled in the right-front corner by Robert Pressley. Stacy Compton is also turned around and collects Rusty Wallace in the fracas. Stewart suffers a mild concussion but fortunately none of the drivers are seriously injured.

This was his first "Oh God get out" wreck. Since then, Daytona '01, Darlington '02, Talladega Busch and both May Charlotte races in '06, and the '07 Daytona 500.
