Credit goes to andyrheww and his YouTube video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Yj6qV3xTtE ) for helping me find out how to get to the edge of Infdev.

I don't care what anyone says, I still think the visuals in Minecraft are more amazing than in Avatar.

How to get to the edge of Infdev:
1. Google and download the latest version of NBTedit.
2. With NBTedit, open up C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data\.minecraft\saves\World(number)\level.dat
3. Make sure to save a backup of the .dat or the whole folder it is in.
4. Find the two XYZ-related settings (one is for spawning, the other is for your current location) and set them to something like: 31999990, 130, 0
5. Save, then open up Infdev, hoping that you don't spawn above a deep trench. If you do, move the XYZ positions or something.
6. Have fun!

  • Notch:The game render can't handle alot.Let's put glitchy borders to prevent commotion that makes players say:It's not infinite map

Jeb:Well its gonna have to stretch

  • @gFrenken97 Nothing is infinite except for numbers. Java cannot be coded in infinite numbers e.o its impossible there is an end to everything. even in the current version of miencraft were in

  • who else has noticed that the thing on the bar on youtube to show you how far through the video you are is now a SNOWFLAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @AlexBestGTA oh, i guess the completed beta doesn't have a limit like that, or is just impossible to reach

  • @bestdudeever765 in indev? in indev there was no lag.the lag came after the hallowen update

  • how many ghz you need to get there?

  • @bestdudeever765 But really hard to find. It would be like the endgame the way I said though.

  • @DDode0 Yes, but they're incredible rare, and it would be a lot cooler like the way I said :)

  • @gFrenken97 yes but basicly if you were going to walk that distance to the farlands..... lets just say that..... it would take like 2 straight day 48 hours.... that is a long time try doing that

  • @ExrisafMC you can find golden apples in dungeon chests
