@Trukie79 What is the thought process behind having a helmet on? We were never taught to keep the helmet on.

i made a mistake wit it today i had a full bottle and i was crawling around for a drill and i must not of turned it on all the way and loss air at 30psi

btw we call this shortcheck and everybody has to do it before entering hazard area :D

@Whammer79 This is an excellent method for donning your pack. It puts all the straps in the right place the first time. It's obviously not for confined spaces, but much quicker when donning in this situation.

@BlueJFilms I've been a fire fighter for 16 years and have never been taught, taught or even seen anyone do the over the head method with the helmet on. Don't see how that would work out very well anyway.

skipping over alot she should pull that cylinder out inspect verify the hydro stat test checkk the harnes frame asselmbly low high pressure hoses examine the mask closely make sure all valve work make sure she has positve pressure in the mask
