"Homicide: Life on the Street" was an American police drama that ran for seven seasons on NBC, from 1993-1999. In episode 6:09, 'Closet Cases', one of the detectives, Tim Bayliss (played by Kyle Secor) came out as bisexual. After that he was shown dating both men and women.
These clip are taken from episode 7:16, 'Truth Will Out'. In this episode, Bayliss sets up a date with a sergeant, Roger Fisk (played by Michael Ford), but he comes under increasing pressure as news of his bisexuality spreads in the Homicide unit, particularly via a website he has set up, 'Buddhist Perspectives on Bisexuality'.

Fisk looks a bit like Tim's old Partner Frank Pembelton.

Wow! This show was so forward for it's time. Too bad we don't have characters like Bayliss on network cop shows now. And what the female detective tells the boys in the breakroom is so true.

THank you for posting--I don't own season 7, and it was great to get to see the ill-fated almost-romance of Fisk/Bayliss. Any chance you may post the shooting of the homeless man/aftermath? I've yet to see that. Thanks for sharing Tim love, we need a bigger H:Lots crew on YouTube!
