Sorry for the quality y'all! Gotta love the originator of thumpin' and pluckin'(slapping and popping) on bass guitar! Larry Graham's funky group, Graham central Station... man such a great group of musicians! dig on their funk for a while! Sorry about the spelling at the end.. dag that sucks.. lol

  • I'm sorry Al (Green) Larry and GCS worked the "H" outta this song...this was my cut...I still think Willy "Wild" Weeks, was the best GCS drummer...Flash was tough too...but Willy was a great funk drummer! Saw them in NYC when they first broke with this...AWESOME!

  • @sonicboomfunk Yeah you right the funk was always on with Sparks on drums , but what i thought made the funky difference was the nasty funky rhythms of Hershall's clavinet, Sly and Billy were great but Hershall was the real "funky stuff."

  • Brother Graham had one of the tightest bands of the '70's. You can't compare today's "music" to that of real musicians back in the day who had their own original look and sound. Record exec's either don't know or they just don't care about developing quality artist and quality music instead of the "cookie-cutter" artist that are out now (with the exception of John Legend, Alicia Keys,and Maxwell
