@leeinsyd i think he's amplifying the stereotypical empowerment of each gender, such as supreme beauty and elegance for women (that you've described) and his interpretation of ostentatious masculinity for men. its art. open your mind.

Funny how Galliano really makes his women look beautiful and elegant, and yet, make his men look ridiculous and silly. I think deep inside, he is taking revenge on all the men that have rejected him in the past. That is my theory. If not, I have no other explanation for his very stupid collections for men.

It's all about the theatre and the drama to get the fashion fans excited about the brand. These clothes are super expensive so they have to do something crazy to sell it.
