Amtrak train 98, the Northbound Silver Meteor, arrives into the Winter Park Amtrak Station on a cool sunny Florida afternoon. This was taken from the Public Parking Garage on the 5th foor, which is the top. I like to call this new Parking area, Winter Park's own railfan platform.

My wife and I are artists and do the Winter Park Sidewalk Arts Festival which is in the park to the left. Always a great weekend to realfan and work.

Every holiday season, Amtrak ends up moving some Horizons from Chicago to New York. It's always really, really busy in New York, and extra cars are needed (although, Chicago always ends up with a shortage, too). Usually, it takes a while to move the Horizons back to Chicago. This video was taken in January, so there were probably some Horizons up in New York, enabling them to be put on the Meteor.
