I'm getting a 10 week old Havanese and want to potty train him, however my mother says that it would be unacceptable if he has an accident inside the house, even once. What would be the best procedure to completely avoid him doing his business indoors? By indoors I mean on the floor and furniture.

Why would you follow these stupid instructions? There is better youtube videos that really show you how to train a puppy, this is useless info.

if the puppy is house trained what signal will the puppy provide the owner when he wants to go pee pee or poo poo?

yeah, it takes at least 3 days to house train.

@richhall1712 my Ridgeback/mastiff pup is coming on to 10 weeks old now , had him 2 weeks, slowly getting a system going where he pees where and when i say but the pup will try and pull a fast one if i am not looking lol. A few moments even where my pup will lead me to the back door to say he needs to go pee pee is a good sign but early days....

@brickford27 ,your right,the my pup is 8 weeks old although she will be a big dog when she is older she is small now and the garden is huge to her she would never find where she wee'd before
