Robert Rodriguez says that he is going to adapt ALL the stories into the movies. When (if) he does, I hope he gets Josh Hartnett to reprise his role as The Colonel considering Frank Miller confirmed that The Man from this story IS The Colonel. Hopefully they don't end up changing it in the movie versions and cast someone else and make them different characters!

It's a short story taken from the issue The babe wore red and other stories. I like this one too, especially after i found out the real story behind this scene. The girl named "The customer" is involved with some member of the mafia, later she would find out and break up with him. The mafia member then swore to her that she would die in the most terrible way possible, and when it is least expected. The Customer, having connections, hires "The Salesman" to kill her. And so he does.
