  • I sometimes think that it is the greatest work by Chopin. It seems like he is at the end of life and reflecting on his past, present, and future with such profound depth.

  • Completely agree with you!

  • C'est certainement le chef d'oeuvre de Chopin!

  • WOW!!

  • @truecrypt hey, we all and chopin somewhere up there supports you! Keep at it and you'll get it!

  • 2:30-it's like someone hits you in the face all of a sudden.

  • It's hard to describe, what this piece means to me....it really captures so many emotions that it will always have a special place in my heart. Also Richter's interpretation is my favourite, he really did an outstanding job and I'm certain that you wouldn't find that nowadays anymore. I actually don't believe there are many things that deserve that predicate, but this is perfection at its best.

  • This is not a polonaise. It's not a fantasy. It's quite tightly constructed, actually!

  • one of the best works of chopin, polonaise or fantasie? i think a fantasie

  • I can't think of any single word to discribe this performance........ Amazing!

  • 2:54 always gives me shivers...

    great, 5* for the upload

for my taste, in some places Richter plays a little too powerful

    great nevertheless

  • about half of the people who listened to the first part didn't bother to complete the masterpiece
