Back in the nineties, German producer Felix Gauder was on top of his game. He poured out some heavyweight Eurodance tracks as part of the Das Modul and Erotic collabs. In 2002, he started focusing on a new project with singer Jenny Marsala: Novaspace. To great success. His remakes 'Dancing With Tears In My Eyes', 'Time After Time' and 'Run To You' made it high up the charts and rocked discotheques and clubs around the whole of Europe. After a few years in the hard dance genre, Felix now focuses on vocal house sounds.
'Close Your Eyes' doesn't sound like any former Novaspace production at all. It's the perfect proof of Felix Gauders diversity in music production. He concentrates on the catchy vocal lines, while Jenny's smooth sounding voice gives the track a lovely summery feel.
On the remix-side you'll find a varied package of reworks, that all translated 'Close Your Eyes' into a broad range of styles. German DJ and producer Niels van Gogh toyed around with the vocal lines and created a more uplifting 'Close Your Eyes' version. On the contrary, Armin Prayd invites you to party hard to his progressive house version with a strong baseline and various sound effects, making the track sound deep and moody. The 'Trokken Remix' convinces with an exceptional baseline, making you move your feet even when you don't want to.
