  • Great video, but at the end could you not simply 53/4 further to 13.25????

  • changing the answer to 13.25 is not really simplfying, only changing one form, vulgar fraction, to another form, decimal fraction. So, you can if you wish, but the examiner will be happy with either form of answer. mathstutor
