Big trouble on the way to China - Volvo Ocean Race Redux

In the last of our Redux videos highlighting Leg 4 of the 2008-09 Volvo Ocean Race, Ericsson 3 sails through some very tough conditions across the Luzon Straits between the Philippines and Taiwan. MCM Gustav Morin shoots the dramatic video as bowman Martin Krite comments, "I didn't think we were going to make it!" Little did he realise, there was worse to come... The next night would be even worse - after hitting a semi-submerged object in the water, the boat suffered catastrophic damage to the bow of their boat, resulting in a near sinking and the subsequent abandonment of racing for the Ericsson 3 team on that Leg.
