  • btw......you are doing great!!! you are almost to 100 lbs. can you believe it? amazing!!!

  • It is awesome. Want it to come quicker than it is right now but I will just have to be patient and stick to it. Thanks for watching.

  • I cant do leftovers either....which is why I HATE eating out now paying for food that just get thrown away uggh! Well small price to pay for weight loss!! :)

  • When I eat out now I tend to oder appetizers or samplers as my meal. Smaller portions and I get a bit of a few different things. But yes a very small price to pay for the weight loss.

  • I am 7 weeks and am having few problems with food. High fat and dry consistency chicken tend to get caught up and cause temporary discomfort, but not a big deal. I can eat Hot Buffalo wings (3), so I guess I shouldl be able to handle anything. Roasted chicken and shredded pork are the easiest. I am down 60 pounds and attribute it to daily exercise of at least 30 minutes (run, walk, Wii Fit, weights varied up)

  • Try cooking your foods in some type of liquid. Any will do. Crock pot seems to be the best for moistening the food especially chicken. Exercise is key. I hate walking and running for exercise so now that I am clear from my hernia surgery I'm hoping that the weight loss will kick back into medium gear.

  • Hey Brackin, I had lapband 14 months ago and am also 41 years old. I have lost 110 lbs so far. Would like to get to know more folks who have gone thru WLS. We just had an east coast meet and greet in AC, NJ.

  • over a year, i would love to see where u are and how u have been doing in the last year. i am new to ur vids nad i am just starting the process as well. thanks!

  • Hey have not seen any updates- You've been my inspiration during my surgery- Just want to see how you are doing

  • wow! i'm the same, exact way. no left overs. & chicken...ugh! i can hardly eat it at all. the texture, the after taste, the dryness = hard on the pouch. i do really well with beef. & chinese food is the best way for me to eat leftovers, which otherwise, grosses me out. 4 some reason the sauce on the chinese and the way it is cut up really small helps. i haven't tried sushi again, yet, but i can't wait. i am 9 weeks out and 66 pounds down. i attribute it 2 exercize 6 days/week for 45mins+

  • Fantastic update! Glad to hear your system is normalizing. Ahh, chicken. I can't eat it anymore and the smell nauseates me. I used to love chicken breast, especially schnitzel, now I can't stomach it. I still love my grandmother's chicken soup though! I also love sushi and sashimi. In the restaurant you can get sashimi on salad, or in seafood miso soup, or chirashi bowl which is assorted sashimi on a bowl of rice. I try to stay away from too much of the rice. Cheers!

  • omg SUSHI!!! i miss sushi...good to know i can eat it again soon :)

  • high five to the same surgery date! leftover chicken is a bummer, eh!
