Instead of telling the kids to make an effort to fit in (integrate), they need to tell their parents. I immigrated to the UK from when I was 10. Although I am white, it was not easy to get along with kids who viewed treated me like a lousy foreigner. My parents were told to speak to me in English and to help us engage with the English culture. It is not about race. It is about cultural conformity. When I returned to Albania when I was 17, it was difficult to once again to integrate.

That does not make the Dutch racist. No Dutchman alive today was involved in the slave trade, so for you to penalise the Dutch people for what their ancestors (may have) done is nonsense. The Dutch are not racist people in general. Individuals are racist, so should a perspective you should look at instead of generalising a whole ethnic group of people.

I think its time for dutch immigrants to learn dutch and perhaps we should allow less people (for humanitarian reasons) in the country so we can actually facilitate the income better, but I´m still on their sight. i don´t see how the current climate of the debate about multiculturalism is going to solve the problem. we need to overcome the current polarisation by starting to be repriprocal about the solution. its a two way street! Deal with it!

It won't be if they force us all together to create one mixed race. They're plan is to get rid of all races of course it won't work. Not all cultures are compatible either just think about religions. The world is multicultural but it is also segregated and not by some evil white government but by people choosing to segregate themselves.

Our society just can't facilitate the influx of (more or less unwilling) migrants in the big cities. It's not even a question of discrimination, we're just not capable to deal with these issues without burdening our freedoms.

I just wish the politicians in Brussels would dare to hold a proper, unprejudiced discussion about these issues and limit unproductive migration.
