Windows 7 on HP TC1100

I Decided to keep my baby


I was able to install Windows 7 on my HP TC1100

What works:
Pen Tablet
Qmenu
Volume
Portrait Change
Hand recognition
Wifi/WLAN
SD CARD
Wacom Pressure sensitive (Great for photoshop)
DirectX8 (Low FPS but still something)
Windows 7 Aero (Very LAGGY)

What doesn't work:

Hi there, great video! I also installed windows 7 on my TC1100 but i can't manage to get the automatic keyboard orientation thingie to work. I want it to work just a you got on 3:46.. how dit you do that?

how do you install pen pressure? I tried several times to install the wacom driver, it told me to restart, and even after the restart, nothing happen and pen pressure still doesn't work. Your help would be appreciated.

Anyone else loose a lot of respect for current tablet makers after seeing this video? I mean here is an 8 year old tablet doing more than most current tablets... its crazy

@ihateyourvidz1 The TC1100 is a great tablet if your just doing it for the web. I found it pretty amazing how well Microsoft Office 2007 ran and even Photoshop CS1. If you want to use a very good antivirus program I would deff go with Nod32.

@Chewytube1 Do yourself a favor and PUT WINDOWS 7 ON THIS TABLET! You will love it..Just need to have enough RAM.. I enjoyed i more than the iPad to be honest.

@GodBlessJesus I used Windows 7 beta version to install this. I was able to instal Windows 7 Ultimate final retail version but ended up selling my tablet to get the Dell Latitude XT. You should youtube it. Very nice tablet IMO

Windows 7 is very better than Windows XP.

It seems really fast and smooth on your tablet.

Did you try Windows 7 Embedded Standard or Windows 7 Embedded Compact?

How do you think this would run on the TC1000? I bought one of those dirt cheap on ebay. I run Win7 on both my desktop and netbook, but am hesitant to push it to the tablet.

is the tc1100 generally a fast performance computer or slow, my dad wants to swap my laptop for his. Bearing in mind his laptop just had swip so no viruses are on it?
