  • PWEESE READ THIS!!

this vid is amazing..RG is the best sport in the world..

and i want to join so bad but im an artistic gymnast..im pretty flexible..like i can do chest sits and rolls and hyperextended bridges and splits..but im 14..is it too late to start RG?? please mail me..thank u soo much. and this vid is totally amazing..

  • I'm sorry to say but I believe it is late. Rhythmic is not only about flexibility, you need many skills you do not learn in other sports. Even the floor is different than what you are used to in Artistic.

And the greatest problem is apparatus technique.Even the smallest childs (at 4-5 years) start to learn that to get used to it, to get the dexterity etc.

Of course, you could still do it just for fun, if you can find a club which doesn't work only with gymnasts of competition level.

  • No it's not to late to join.

There's a girl in my club who started at 16 and did artistic.

she started at leve l4 so you should have a go.

  • @gymnasticfan Forgot to mention: most of the girls on my team began as teens, too, so as long as you put some serious effort into it, you can start a bit late and at least make progress. Maybe not the Olympics, but then again, how many girls get there, anyway? You can still have great success in smaller competitions. It's never too late...I'm coaching one gymnast now who is 20 and started only four years ago! She's very good now because of hard work and passion for RG. :) Yerofeeva began at 13!

  • @gymnasticfan, I have to (respectfully) disagree. ;)

I began rhythmic at age 13, coming from an artistic gymnastics. I had never done RG. I wasn't flexible. I worked hard, practiced a lot outside training, and went far in the sport. I learned apparatus technique as a teen, and I found that older girls are usually better with the apparatus because they can understand the motions. I coach now, so I'm speaking as both a gymnast and coach. Older girls can be very successful in this sport. :)

  • I found, the video is very good.

  • gymnasticfan , No it isnt

  • lilgymnastbabi33 , No it is NOT!

Because you have flexiblity and you just have to train hard, and a AG gymnast is as good as an RG gymnast. Both sports needs the same thing, balance flexiblity, strenght and more. So NO it is NOT to late for you :)

    Sorry for the bad english.

  • its amazing but they wear WAY to much makeup

  • I like it. Music itself is really beautiful, but I think too ad to this movie.
