Vision 2030; an ambitious plan launched a year ago with the mission being the transformation of Kenya into a middle level economy. This is a plan that now comes under sharp focus as the country grapples with a multi-fronted crisis combining the basics such as energy, food and water. And as NTVs Brenda Mulinya reports, the question is in the circumstances likely to be asked; is vision 2030 just another pipe dream?
Yep, thats the truth ... I gave up on those old leaders a long time ago ...

What we need more than free ways is a complete generational change of leaders. Highways with fools at the helm will not take us anywhere. What good is a highway when Kibera is still there?

You know at one time this thing was vision 2010!! What a joke!! What Kenyans need is to do what most developing countries did and that is to have 5 year plans, not plans that our leaders don't feel accountable for coz they'll all be by the due date.
We need to know what they'll do within the foreseeable future, not the science fiction they are attempting to play with us.

Perfect reporting. No scenes overshown till become irritating, this even allowing ample room for dozens of varieties of clips; it as well, comes out formal, professional, civilised e.t.c. Reporter's background is appropriate; not the Odd, primitive, ones of other reporters. Viva, Brenda. Very PROFFESIONAL JOB, (ABOVE THIRD WORLD COUNTRY)

Vision 2030 is a con. These hyenas are busy raping our country instead of building it.

I think with good leadership of innovative thinkers we can transform Kenya within 10 years! Food suficiency should take 5 years. Survey, design and construction of huge dams in almost all rivers in Kenya for irrigation, as well as the support infrastructure of pipelines and canals, 2 years. Construction of the same, 2 years and the fifth year commencement of serious irrigation fed farming. After that, 5 years of industrial processing and manufacturing for domestic and export market.

Stop the thieving first...only then will there be enough for building the steps towards the 2030.

Just see what good Infra-structure can do to a City's Image ... At 0:20 Secs Nairobi looks like a First World City with those freeways and what not ... Damn ...
