@ToniDReanimate Yeah you're right... IF you want your buds the same low quality as outdoor grown green, then sure go ahead and pull of the "main leaves".. Those leaves are the ones doing pretty mush all the work when it comes to sugar. The sugar is essential for THC production.

led lights work great for veg, but if you were to use an two 600 watt hps lights in the flowering your yield would have been 3 times as much...other than that very nice clean grow

I am in the process of buying lights and still debating whether to go with LEDs or not. So far info seams to be not. I have been in many grow rooms and HIDs seems to be the stuff. I am interested on why brand of LEDs did you get? Wattage ?

From what i have seen LED seems great for vegging, but for flower not so much.

Might be the heat, but I kinda doubt it. I live in cali too and my temps run in the summer 85 or higher somtimes. You might want to top the plants next time or try som LSTing on them. i have some good info on theledjungle website. Also i think you had way too many plants under those lights. Try 10-12 max. Also i ran mine with both the buttons turned on not just the whit for veg and red for flower. Search 4220 magazines website look for a grower called irishboy and check out his LED journals.
