I wrote PITE in spring 2006. Together with 'Beating Of My Heart' this song is my favorite of my own songs so far. I wrote it to put my last relationship behind, and it really gave me mental strength, so to say. I could see the light again (the sun;) Love to sing and play it, therefore .. :-)

i also believe that the hope generated from the breaking of the circle and getting out of stuck "the ways we went mad we left them behind"

is the power of this song and the reason it leaves strong positive and passionate feelings

esp the ending - which is like a cry of release from "something"

from slavery to freedom

really really beautiful - captures a great thing that is not easy to describe in words

it's breaking the circle that brings hope
