Strider Returns Part 3

Yes, you heard me right. I am playing Strider Returns on Sega Gensis/Megadrive emulator...

This game is perhaps one of the most annoying games ever created in all aspects. Gameplay is horrible and difficult of the game itself is insane and unfair. Most areas of games require quite alot of trial and error as you move forward. Part three is here.

Level we are about to play here is short and its called "hive level". Well, i guess i did pretty good for not dying once here. The boss is freaking easy if you just crouch around and keep attacking to its stinger. Level is generaly quite boring with some old enemies and you have to keep climbing up on these flat platforms. Some hives are around that burst some angry wasps that you can dodge by crouching, but they are still really pissing off. Swarms that come out are not so hard to defeat but they can block they way pretty easily.

This part is boring if you expect me to die again haha, next level ahead is the alien depths...

Oh shit you played the game with the swep sword?! I got to the 4th level today (first time) with the original, I dont think I could with the sweep :O

Yeah i did it with the default settings. God this was painful. The boss is near impossible to beat without using crouch and attack constantly.
