Tetris the borzoi

For those of you who don't understand swedish: Tetris is sick/injured, and I don't know why! One of her back legs is really swollen and a bit warm, but there are no marks or cuts and I can bend and stretch her leg as much as I want without her complaining. She is tired and a bit "blue", has no appetite. I suspect a bee sting with an allergic reaction. Poor baby! I will keep my eye on her and let her rest, and if she is not better by tomorrow I will take her to the vet, of course. (When she was a puppy something similar happened, but on the nose, her tiny borzoi puppy nose was big as a tennis ball... The vet said it was some kind of allergic reaction, probably from some kind of insect.)

She's at the veterinary clinic since yesterday, maybe I will have her back home tomorrow... They think she's been bitten by a snake (we have one species of poisonous snake in Sweden) and she need's IV and antibiotics... Her leg is still swollen but now it leaks blood and pus and stuff. She is feeling better and her fever is down (she was up to 40.3° celsius when we got to the clinic yesterday and could barely stand up) but they need to give her meds and keep an eye on her because of the poison.

Lilla stackaren... Gör ont i mitt modershjärta kan jag säga. VARFÖR kan inte djuren få ha röster vi förstår, att de kan tala om vad som är fel? Blir så frustrerad.
