When I was watching the movie, I found it interesting that during the course of the police investigation, a cast of "Strut's" penis was found. Strut was the stallion that has sex with Mr Hands and accidently killed him.

But, cant the same argument hold true with pedophilia? How come there are laws for one but not the other? Perhaps it is because the majority of societies mentality still firmly believes that animals are lesser beings than us. Many authorities still do not take animal cruelty calls seriously even though there are laws against it.

However, there are laws protecting them against cruelty. If someone decides to neglect, starve, beat, deny vet care, fight etc. their animal, they can be punished by a fine and/or jail time. They can even be barred from ever owning animals. The animals cannot fend nor speak for themselves so it is our responsibility to do so on their behalf. Zoophiles typically cannot be charged with what they are doing because whether an animal consented or not to those acts cannot be proven.

And then again- Why arent there any laws about this? I honestly dont know. Still to this day animals are considered as property. Property by definition is ownership; right of possession, enjoyment, or disposal of anything, especially of something tangible. This means that the animals are ours and we should be able to do what we please with them.

So the child may willingly take its clothes off for that adult thinking its the right thing to do since it was reinforced. They dont want to make them angry, after all! Since the child does not object to this behavior does that make this consensual?

I wonder if this film was a guy talking about pedophilia with slow motion shots of children playing on the playground if this movie would be as widely accepted and won as many awards. Somehow I think not. From a young age children are conditioned to trust adults. Our parents are the source of every thing good in the world, and as we get older our parents teach us to respect our elders....

We are still young enough not to know any better so we do not question them. At this point our mentality is on the same level as many animals. Children that are molested do not realize what they are doing with the adult is wrong. The adult coerces the child into complying often times by treating it as some sort of special game and maybe giving the child a toy afterwards.

It sort of reminds me of dog fighting. Like mounting, aggression is a natural behavior but it is not natural for a predator to needlessly kill another animal. There is usually reason behind it- fear, self defense, dominance, illness etc....

Those dogs are conditioned by people to kill other dogs and as a result automatically respond with aggression when they see another dog. They dont realize what they are doing is wrong, by law even, they just know that 100s of years of domestication has hardwired them to work for humans- This is what my human wants me to do, so I am going to do it.
