Yes, Ford was the first to re-produce their muscle car (the Mustang) similar to how it looked back in the 70's.
And while I do like how it looks and performs, it doesn't mean Ford owns the rights to re-introduce old school muscle and looks.
Regardless, there wasn't a production car (ie: one that "John Q. Public" could afford) offered in the 60's/70's that could match the Hemi. And I believe that Dodge won't hold any punches with their new Hemis.
It's too bad the first challengers will all be auto's. the 2009 versions will have manual transmissions though. It's probally a good thing for me. I want the manual so i have more time to save up >.>
i wonder what the challenger would be like with a vinyl top and chrome trim. it needs something to make it look more seventies, than just the shape.

I don't know what all this non-Hemi talk is; the cheaper model that comes out later is supposed to have a 5.7L Hemi. Not a 4.7L Magnum...
