I did this video quite a while back, but its prolly with the same card I got now which is a Nvidia Geforce 6600 256 MB AGP card.
To change graphic settings click on "Options" from the main menu, then "Detail Settings" Once you are here you can tweak the graphics to your liking. For me all of these are either set to Maximum or High.

Also not sure if you know of www.nba-live.com, but its prolly one of the greatest sites for fans of any NBA Live series version. They have Roster updates, different graphic enhancement to players, jerseys, courts all by your every day gamer.
