Sometimes I wonder how much gameplay we could have if we were willing to sacrifice the polygon count.

@GhettoKarter1992 No. The PSX is a Multimedia Device launched in Japan. It was the first device featuring the XMB interface and it could play PS1 and PS2 games. It had a hard disc, which apparently made it function as a DVR device.
However, PSX also meant Play Station eXperimental, the protoype name for the PS1 just after the Sony-Nintendo SNES CD project was dissolved.

what's the PSX...the same as PS1?

I think i actually prefer then handling on this to GT3/4

..Who added Einhander music to this..? Jeez. Wicked shit. Great showing off of PS2 right here. Gorgeus upload.

they should have went on making gt series like fifa or pes, gt 2000, gt 2001, etc

@RunLikeHellIV uhh, gt 3 isn't hard to drift...

and your definition of a new generation is wrong by the way. dreamcast and ps2 are both considered same generation despite ps2 having more power. dreamcast is considered a 6th gen console due to the graphical leap over the 5th gen consoles like the n64, ps1 and sega saturn.
furthermore, I just say that these graphics look better than ps1 and n64 graphics, which I believe I can say, no?
It really just looks like GT2, it's nothing like the GT3 we eventually got. It has the graphics of GT2, glossy to hide the faults of the PSX, and it has the physics of GT2, where cars will freely slide.
It's nothing like the realistic looking, hard-to-drift GT3 we got eventually. :D
