  • @peymaania MANNERS BEFORE MORALS!! - a wise saying!!

  • @peymaania Yes, the one constant in life . . . the hypocrisy of power. I'm with you, peymaania.

And the hypocrisy of humility and modesty and youth and age and flamboyance and simplicity, good and bad and wealth and art and style and neutrality and, oh, the hypocrisy of self-righteousness.

    That one constant in life.

    Thank heavens, there's also humor.

  • "If a woman really repents she has to go to a bad dressmaker.". Oscar Wilde was a genius !

  • @goodluckpeace44 You havent actually been to modern london, or actually heared a british teen speak, have you?

  • cool dress

  • hey, Oscar Wilde wasn't really all that in the mainstream of Victorian society at that time and homosexuality certainly wasn't acceptable.

The next genius will have to be on the boundary of "civilization" and everything else too.

  • Americans have been destroying decipline these days, how the people speak these days Yo Yo dude dude, and Britney Spears and 50 cent. It is far more superior to be a common wealthed man than being invaded by pop music and listning to britney spears. I know that there are Talented American peple I respect them just as i respect a god, but the British have not intoxicated people they like decipline. How hard it is to civilize this world agian to have geniuses like Oscar wilde again?

  • my friend I am born in sri lanka, I am a admirer of everything Britain is including literature, british did a great job by invading sri lanka. British gave good education oportunity. In addition British people took the skull of one of our greatest heros because they wanted to honor him. British people must have power because they invented steam engine and made ships, all by hard work and sacrification. why is it bad to be powerful? Isnt it humanity? even Oscar Wilde has the power of literature

  • she dropped it

  • I'll take that back! I am so glad she did not strike her with her fan!:)
