@MrJayWynn YES! So were they! Also, GnR are one of the headline glam rock bands, second (IMHO) only to Twisted Sister. You know, tight pants, big hair, powerchords, and power ballads. Typified where? Oh yeah, Sunset Strip, LA, CA, USA. Home of who, the Hollywood Roses and the L.A. Guns. Call it glam "metal" if you wish, call it "hard rock" if you want. I'll never denigrate my _FAVORITE_ bands' ability to rock like none other, but they's still glam to me.

The video is an awesome parody of everything excessive of the glam rock era. The guys do a pretty good job of singing the vocals from Paradise City, and the band (if they're actually playing the song, do a solid job of it (not that it's a terribly difficult song to begin with). Not exactly a cover, more of a huge sample. Different, but I like it.
