Pure Improv 1 - January 14th

I decided to make some keyboard vids every once in awhile that are purely improv. That means no preparation whatsoever, just sit down and start playing. Here's the first. Let me know what ya think. Mp3's always available on request for subscribers :)

Heey you play very cool, it sounds great! When looking at ur hands, we can all see that this is not 100% of improv, because we can hear/see that you have practised this before, or something close to this. Because nobody could make a piece of music without making those little improvise mistakes and stuff. But awesome music, I like your style, keep it up :)

Thanks so much for the comment! Actually though, it is purely improv, in the sense that it is unrehearsed and unpracticed original playing when I sit down and record these types of videos. Thanks again for subscribing!

Great playing! I've been playing the piano for about 3 months now and I just love to improvise. Ah, and you said you weren't good in other keys... Try to play in F major. C7 has Bb in it, so you can switch to C whenever you like and in my experience it'll probably still sound neat! And it's also only one accidental away from C, making it an easy yet good way to practice improv w/ black keys. ;D

a few things hehe .. I'm not great in other keys because I don't practice them. I'll admit, keyboards like mine that can transpose make me lazy. At the same time, I've refined my skills on C (which I can transpose to anything) so I guess that's a positive thing :)
