I don't think the confederacy is going to rise up again anytime soon, taking on the might of the UNITED states military probably wouldn't go well. I also feel like its important to note that the C.S.A. is an enemy of the united states of america, and the johnny in this song was a part of the union, and i as a soldier of the united states find all this anti-american talk very disappointing.
