the tobacco companies didnt give the kids the cigarettes. The cashiers working at the gas stations and bodegas who didnt ask for id sold kids the cigarettes.

This is all BS! The people are still paying the price for the scam the tobacco industry launched on the public. That scene where kids are hauled into court for smoking cigarettes because they're under the age of 18 should make anyone livid. Anytime that a kid is caught smoking cigarettes under the age of 18, a tobacco executive should be hauled into court and beaten severely -- they are the one's who should suffer the consequences!
