this driver is driving a bit too fast.....he needs to be ready for the "other" guy out there, no whipping around corners. I don't care how bad the patient is in the back of the bus, I'll manage it. And I'll rip my partner a new one afterwards if he was driving like this. My priority: to make it home - alive.

Reminds me of the time we had to take a meridian to avoid hitting some un-attentive driver. I was in back and luckily the driver yelled back and I had about 3 seconds to get ready. Stuff went everywhere what a mess. I'm glad I had the driver that day that I did.

I'm 21, and only been driving since 18 and I have personally seen this happen 3 times. Car plows right into an ambulance...

Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle,talking on a cell phone while operating a vehicle,wreckless operation of a vehicle, possibly negligent homicide,congrats Mr.unattentive driver,in my state,your going to jail for a long long time.

As an NREMT-P in the EMS field for almost seven years I can personally attest to the danger posed by inattentive drivers. I think we've all been in the back of the box when this has happened before. A great video that should be on TV often.
