The original benny Goodman orchestra was the greatest swing band in the world, Benny, Gene Krupa, Harry James etc so what a shock when he got blown off stage in the battle of the bands by Chick Webb, I think Benny's choice of Don't be that way was a mistake cos a great band like Chick's played a more up-tempo arrangement and made Bennys' seem tired, listen to them both and see what you think

Very nice! No wonder the late great Mr Goodman was called the "King of Swing'. How I love those Big Band classics. Many thanks for posting it for us to see!
