Hilarious. This brings back memories of a Singaporean friend asking me to bring biscuits to the potluck. I go across town (I live in China) to find biscuit mix and a friend with an oven. I show up with biscuits, only to find she wanted cookies. Crazy British people... they fake you out. You think they're speaking our language until they throw out some random "biscuits are cookies" or "chips are fries" nonsense. Make the madness end... ;)
